Although Sharon has been claiming she’s not looking for a serious romance, maybe she just doesn’t want to get serious with anyone besides Nick.
Sharon might come clean to Nick about breaking things off with Chance and wonder if he ever thinks about a potential way forward for them.
If Nick admits he’d like to reconnect romantically, this could lead him down the path to happily ever after with Sharon.
