More TV chaos as Coronation Street is pulled from schedules again
It’s bad news for Coronation Street fans, as a change to the schedules has impacted when episodes of the ITV soap will air this week.
There’s been a lot of alterations as of late so if you’re confused or just looking for a handy explanation, look no further.
Here’s everything you need to know.
When is Coronation Street on this week?
Following yesterday’s (February 5) episode, the final two trips to Weatherfield this week will air on:
- Friday, February 9 – 8-9pm
- Sunday, February 11 – 8-9pm
Why has Coronation Street’s schedule changed this week?
The usual Wednesday visit to the cobbles won’t occur this week, as ITV will continue covering the FA Cup.
The Aston Villa vs Chelsea game will air from 7:30pm, meaning there won’t be any room for Corrie to be broadcasted as well.
This also means Emmerdale will air earlier at 7pm.
What is happening in Coronation Street this week?
Yesterday, a frustrated Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) made contact with Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor) about the next stage of their plan, which also involves getting rid of Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths).
Later in the week, Adam will tell Harvey there’s a high chance their appeal case will be successful if they pin Natasha Blakeman’s murder on someone else.
Soon enough, Adam will make his way to Weatherfield General Hospital to meet a man called John Perry. Harvey reveals that this man is willing to confess to the murder, but Adam is stunned when he discovers John Perry is a cancer patient.
Elsewhere, will Tracy (Kate Ford) continue her affair with Tommy Orpington (Matt Milburn) now Steve (Simon Gregson) is back?
And how will Bethany (Lucy Fallon) fare in her attempt at getting information from Lauren (Cait Fitton) about Ryan (Ryan Prescott) and Daisy’s (Charlotte Jordan) past?
