ITV Coronation Street Star BARED IT ALL! Sair Khan’s Raw Honesty About Motherhood Leaves Fans Inspired (Get The Tissues!)

Coronation Street’s Sair Khan has opened up about ‘navigating the ups and downs’ post pregnancy.

Sair plays Alya Nazir in the ITV soap. In order to facilitate Sair’s maternity leave, Alya was offered a new job in Dublin, and left Weatherfield in the episode broadcasted on May 8.

Taking to Instagram to share some adorable pictures of herself, her new baby and partner Nathan, Sair wrote a lengthy message alongside describing the birth, and adjusting to life as new parents.

In her latest Instagram post, Sair shared a picture of herself walking through a garden, while her partner Nathan held their baby boy.

‘The last few weeks have been tough but beautiful. Navigating the ups and downs of the postnatal period with each day and night rolling into the next and countless challenges with latching and feeding,’ she began.

‘We’ve been to sort little man’s tongue tie this morning so hopefully it’ll be the beginning of more settled times!

‘With feeds keeping us busy around the clock it’s been so easy for me to stay home for days on end, working my way through every season of ‘Suits’ as that’s all my brain and body can manage.’

She concluded: ‘Now the mist is beginning to lift a little and I’m ready to get out and about more, i think. 😂 Hope the new Mama’s out there are showing themselves lots of love and compassion. I thought I’d be back to regular life straight after birth but the reality has been very different so just taking it step by step and trying not to feel guilty!’

Sair and Nathan began dating in 2020 after meeting through a mutual friend, and have remained ‘head over heels’ for each other ever since.

At the end of 2021, Nathan had an operation to remove a benign bone tumour. He decided to set up a YouTube channel and began documenting his experiences living with a tumour in his pelvis.

Sair’s partner was due to have the operation on December 29 but ten minutes before, the op was cancelled and rescheduled for a week later.
