ITV Coronation Street spoilers: Adam Barlow seals Damon Hay’s fate after another crushing blow – with help from a dark source

Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) is very close to making a huge mistake in Coronation Street as his desperation to get rid of Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) increases.

Shortly after Damon returned at the start of this year, he found Sarah (Tina O’Brien) and said he was really sorry for everything that happened, and wanted to get back with her.

After a little bit of time, and a comment from Ed (Trevor Michael Georges) about Damon changing his ways, Sarah decided to give him another chance.

The development has angered Adam a great deal. At the start of the week, he paid a visit to Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor), Damon’s brother, and said they need to work together to get rid of the criminal.

In Wednesday’s (January 17) episode of the ITV soap, Adam made his way to the prison for another meeting with Harvey.

As part of the deal, Adam told Harvey that he has a watertight case for an appeal. The murderer then explained to Adam that he will need to meet with the hitman at the end of the week to hand the money over, and then the plan can get underway.

At first, Adam was a little reluctant, knowing he’d be risking his career even further, but the events that followed during his day made him change his mind.

In the Bistro, Damon was hanging out with Harry. He spoke about how much he loves Sarah and hopes they can be friends too. Harry agreed, and smiled when Damon suggested going into town after their food.

While Damon was out with Harry, Adam started to wonder where they had gone. When they eventually returned, Sarah picked up on Damon’s behaviour and knew he was late back deliberately to annoy Adam.

That evening, at Dee-Dee’s (Channique Sterling-Brown) flat, Adam ranted about Damon and his fear he’ll turn Harry against him.

When Dee-Dee and Alya (Sair Khan) left, Adam called Harvey and confirmed he wants information on the person he’ll be meeting.

During Adam’s chat with Harvey at the start of the episode, he was told if he crosses Harvey, the person dealing with Damon will deal with him as well.

So, will he really go through with the plan?

And if not, how much danger will Adam be in if Harvey gets his revenge?
