ITV Coronation Street spoilers: A bone-chilling discovery about Lauren Bolton leaves Bobby Crawford reeling

Bobby Crawford (Jack Carroll) made a concerning discovery about friend Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) in Friday’s (February 16) episode of Coronation Street.

We’ve known for a little while now that Lauren has been having trouble with her ex-boyfriend.

When they were ‘together’, the boyfriend would shower Lauren with gifts so she could impress her friends, but she was often reluctant to let anyone in Weatherfield actually meet him.

In tonight’s episode of the ITV soap, Lauren spent the morning at her flat stressing about an energy bill she needed to pay.

Unable to secure anymore shifts at the cafe, Lauren decided to dress up and prepare to film some content for OVidz, a similar site to OnlyFans.

When Max (Paddy Bever) and Sabrina (Luana Santos) popped by, they grew curious when they saw Lauren with hair extensions in and lots of makeup on. At first, they wound her up over apparently having a crush on her tutor Daniel (Rob Mallard), but Lauren ended up revealing she’s going to film sexual material for people online.

Max and Sabrina were obviously worried but they took the approach of not prying for informaiton.

When Bobby arrived, however, things were different.

Bobby started to make Lauren laugh and distacted her from her problems. As they sat down, it wasn’t long until the teens started to kiss but just as Bobby tried to remove Lauren’s jacket, he spotted her shoulder completely covered in black and blue bruises.

Lauren got up and lied to Bobby, saying that she fell down the stairs, but he didn’t believe her.

Bobby tried to get Lauren to open up but she was reluctant. With no choice, he headed home, but bumped into Max and Sabrina at the bus stop.
