Coronation Street’s Adam Barlow, portrayed by Sam Robertson, is desperate to take revenge against Damon Hay. We are already aware that Damon and Sarah’s past affair led to a hard time for Adam. However, the last time, he plotted a plan to make him leave Emmerdale. Now that he has returned, he finds better ways to get rid of him. Adam’s love triangle storyline sort of resembles an early 1980s plot of his own father, Mike Baldwin. Mike was engaged in an affair with Deirdre Barlow, who was married to Ken Barlow. However, the Coronation Street storyline ended with Ken helping Mike in the year 2006. But what made the plot more spicy was Mike marrying Ken’s daughter Susan, who is also Adam’s mother. He revealed, “He’s 100% serious about getting rid of Damon; he’s all in now, and he seems unrepentant.” He mentioned that he surely is uncertain about specific elements, but he has no doubts about his intentions.
The actor highlights that his sole purpose is to get rid of Damon ASAP.
