ITV Coronation Street Abi SEES RED! Killer Corey’s Prison PERK Makes Her SNAP!

Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine) is to get a horrific blast from the past in Coronation Street next week.

A word of warning to anybody who crosses her path, watch your back!

In upcoming scenes, Abi turns on the TV to hear the presenter singing the praises of Corey Brent (Maximus Evans), the cruel teenager that killed her son Seb (Harry Visinoni) in a vicious attack.

He was out walking with girlfriend Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) when Corey and his gang began chasing them.

Abi watches in horror as the documentary paints him as a hero on his prison football team.

‘Suddenly Corey’s literally in her kitchen, and not only is he in her kitchen, he’s in her kitchen having a great time, being bigged up and being celebrated. It’s just like a sucker punch in her stomach,’ Sally Carman told us.

‘Obviously she thinks about Seb all the time, but she was starting to get to that point where she could think about him and feel happy remembering him. Obviously there are moments where that’s not the case, but this has totally turned all of it on its head and she feels like she’s back to the day he was kicked to death by Corey.’

Furious, she and Nina head to the offices of the TV production company responsible for making the programme, and barge their way into the producer’s office to express their distaste.

Later, they are relieved to see readers of the Weatherfield Gazette have left a barrage of supportive comments alongside a petition calling for the documentary to be scrapped.

Trying to put the events behind her, she then gets a surprise visit from her former drug dealer, Dean (Anthony Crank). He admits that he’s had a difficult time and needs her help, but he sends him on his way as Cassie (Claire Sweeney) watches on.

In the garage office, Tyrone (Alan Halsall) opens an email and is disgusted to see it contains a sex tape of Abi which has been uploaded online.

Cassie admits to Kevin (Michael Le Vell) that she saw Dean sniffing around and arguing with Abi, and then overheard them talking about meeting to hand over cash. Kevin instantly thinks she’s turned back to drugs in the wake of the Corey saga.

Meanwhile, Abi meets up with Dean, brandishing a wrench and accuses him of spreading the video. He’s adamant that he has no idea how it came about, but she doesn’t believe him and goes to attack.

Kevin quickly swoops in and orders her to drop the wrench.

Later, Dean is taken in for police questioning and Abi learns that four other videos have been uploaded – except they aren’t her, they’re deepfakes!

How will she recover?
