It was an EastEnders reunion last night as four real life besties attended a red carpet launch in London.
Former Albert Square star Shaheen Jafargholi, who played Shakil Kazemi went to the premiere of BBC’s latest TV series Wreck.
The star-studded event also included Shaheen’s former EastEnders co-stars, Tilly Keeper, (Louise Mitchell) Jasmine Armfield, (Bex Fowler) and Amy-Leigh Hickman (Linzi Bragg).
The girls supported their former Britain’s Got Talent star Shaheen, 27, who plays Billy in Wreck.
In a post shared to Instagram, the actor is seen looking dapper in a furry blazer alongside his former EastEnders co-stars and besties.
Shaheen, Jasmine, Tilly and Amy-Leigh appeared in EastEnders at the same time and were involved in high profile storylines.
Shaheen left the soap when his character was killed in a tragic stabbing. A special episode revolving around his funeral saw real life stories of people who had been victims of knife crime included in the story.
Following this Shaheen went on to join Casualty as nurse Marty Kirby. The popular character was involved in some high-profile storylines and finally left the show earlier this year as his character became disillusioned with the job in the wake of the death of a colleague.
Since leaving EastEnders Jasmine Armfield has also appeared in an episode of Casualty. She played Bex Fowler from 2014 to 2020.
Tilly Keeper played Louise Mitchell on the show. With mum Lisa (Lucy Benjamin) and also starred in the latest season of Netflix’s You alongside Penn Badgley.
While Amy played Linzi Bragg, or Star as she was known, between 2016 and 2017.
Her biggest role, however, came in 2017, when she landed the part of Nasreen Paracha on Ackley Bridge.
