BREAKING NEWS: BBC EastEnders Tragedy: Icons Quit After Shocking Move!

Two EastEnders legends are set to make an emotional exit after a dramatic couple of weeks in the BBC soap.

Patrick and Yolande Trueman (Rudolph Walker and Angela Wynter) have had an emotional time recently, with Patrick having found out about Yolande’s ordeal at the hands of Pastor Clayton (Howard Saddler).

Pastor Clayton sexually assaulted Yolande in horrifying scenes several weeks ago, leaving her traumatised.

In emotional scenes, Yolande asked Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) to tell Patrick what had happened over the phone, and he was devastated to learn the truth.

Though Yolande made it clear that she didn’t want to tell the police, she explained that she was prepared to talk to someone at the church to ensure that Pastor Clayton didn’t get away with what he’d done.

When Yolande told Levi about the attack, he commended her bravery, and promised to investigate straight away.

In upcoming scenes, Patrick grows frustrated when Levi reveals that he has scheduled a meeting with his superiors for next week.

Incredulous that the process is taking so long, Patrick collars Levi and warns him to speed things up, before he takes matters into his own hands.

However, when he sees Pastor Clayton posturing at the Community Centre, he can’t stand it and heads to confront him, leaving Yolande begging him to stop.

With everything that’s going on in Walford, Yolande suggests that she and Patrick take a holiday, and she’s relieved when Levi assures her that her absence won’t hinder the investigation.

Before heading off, Yolande tells Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) that Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams) or Denise Fox (Diane Parish) will move in with him, though Denzel is desperate to prove that he can be trusted alone.

Will Yolande and Patrick come back from their much needed break to more chaos from Denzel?
