BBC EastEnders spoilers: Stacey Slater sends shockwaves as she makes devastating confession

Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) has been hiding a whole host of secrets in EastEnders recently, but she is set to make a devastating confession in upcoming scenes.

One thing that Stacey has been trying to keep on the down-low is her affair with Jack Branning (Scott Maslen).

With Denise Fox (Diane Parish) back at home, she and Stacey plan a BBQ to bring both sides of baby Charli’s family together. At the BBQ, things are awkward as guilty Stacey chats with a fragile Denise.

Outside, Stacey tells Jack that, while she wishes she could be selfish and continue their fling, Denise needs him to be there for her.

As the pair embrace and share a tender goodbye kiss, they are interrupted by a shocked Martin Fowler (James Bye).

Stacey and Jack both insist that their kiss was nothing more than a moment of madness and beg Martin not to tell Denise.

Their confrontation is soon interrupted by Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams), who grows suspicious when Stacey chases after Martin.

When she finally catches up with him, she drops a bombshell by confessing to her affair with Jack, but insists that it is all over, before pointing out that it isn’t any of Martin’s business.

Later, Martin turns to godmother Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) and confides in her what he has learnt.

Terrified that Denise finding out about the affair may have serious consequences for the rest of The Six, Kathy desperately tries to persuade Martin to keep the secret.

Will Martin take her advice, or could everything be set to unravel?
