BBC EastEnders Spoilers: Exit for panicked Linda Carter after a dramatic confession to Keanu Taylor’s murder

This article contains spoilers for Monday’s (February 5) episode of EastEnders which has not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on BBC iPlayer.

The Six were thrown into panic in recent EastEnders scenes when they discovered that there had been a leak in the café, with Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) furious that he would have to pull up the floor to repair it.

While this was a mere inconvenience for the new café owner, it spelled complete disaster for The Six, who thought they had buried the past – quite literally.

Viewers will know that The Six buried Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) body beneath the café after Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) stabbed him to death on Christmas Day.

It didn’t take long for Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) to call a crisis meeting, which instantly sent Linda and Denise Fox (Diane Parish) into a panic.

As Denise lamented that her necklace had been buried with the body and she was sure to be found out, Linda couldn’t help but think about how Keanu’s family would feel when they learnt the truth.

Determined that she couldn’t stay on the Square for much longer, Linda was thrilled when Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) later gave her a surprise offer.

Alfie revealed that he planned to go on holiday, and given how much Linda had been struggling, asked if she wanted to bring the kids along and join him.

Linda wasted no time in agreeing, grateful to be given an excuse to get away.

Elsewhere, however, things weren’t looking any brighter for Denise, who paid Pastor Clayton another visit, this time to tell him that following his previous advice had done nothing to help her.

Pastor Clayton could tell that something was bothering her, and urged her to unburden herself, giving Denise an idea.

Having already toyed with the idea to confess all, Denise began writing out her confession.

Thankfully, Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) arrived just in time, and issued her with some good news: Nish wasn’t digging up the café floor.

Relieved Denise had soon ripped up her confession, but it would be wrong to say that her conscience was clear. Poor Denise continued to suffer as she hallucinated Keanu once more.

Linda was equally relieved to learn that the body would remain underground, but that wouldn’t last long.

As she headed to the café opening to meet the other women, she was horrified to come face to face with Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley).

Will Linda be able to leave with Alfie before she’s hit with any other setbacks?
