BBC EastEnders pulled from BBC One tonight – but there’s a twist

EastEnders fans expecting to sit down for dinner at 7.30pm tonight (February 6) and get their daily helping of the BBC One soap on the side will be in for a shock, as the episode has been pulled from schedules.

Phil shouting and bursting through a door in EastEnders

Though EastEnders usually airs Monday to Thursday, this week has seen a change to schedules, thanks to coverage of the FA Cup.

Instead of the aftermath of Karen Taylor’s (Lorraine Stanley) shock return to Albert Square tonight, soap fans will instead be treated to a tense kickabout between Plymouth Argyle and Leeds United.

Instead, the remaining episodes for this week will air on BBC One from Wednesday 7 to Friday 9 instead.

But fear not, EastEnders diehards, as there is still a way to watch the episode as normal…

Alongside its usual nightly showings on BBC One, EastEnders also drops at 6am Monday to Thursday on BBC iPlayer, and despite the change in TV schedules, this has remained the same this week.

In fact, Wednesday’s (February 7) episode is already available to view – and, trust us, it’s a gooden.

Karen continues to cause a stir as she clashes with Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry), and things only get worse when Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) arrives demanding his £50,000.

Meanwhile, The Six are desperate to keep the secret of Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) murder hidden, with Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) prepared to go to extreme lengths to stop Karen from digging…

Elsewhere, George Knight (Colin Salmon) takes dad Eddie (Christopher Fairbank) on a tour of the Square, which results in a boxing training session for Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega).
