BBC EastEnders fans ‘grossed out’ as Sharon’s new man ‘revealed’ – and it’s a ‘big curveball’

EastEnders’ Sharon Watts has been left heartbroken over the death of Keanu – now, fans are convinced they know who she’ll be moving on to next and she’s ‘keeping it in the family’
EastEnders fans have rumbled who Sharon Watts could be cracking on with next.
The soap legend, played by Letitia Dean, is a grim favourite on the soap – making her debut back in 1985. And over the years, Sharon has had her fairs of romantic relations.
From Ian Beale to Phil Mitchell, Sharon has bonked several Walford residents. But over in the soap recently, she has been left grieving the loss of her toy boy beau Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).
As fans will recall, Keanu was killed off at Christmas time when Linda Carter stabbed him in a bid to stop him from strangling Sharon. The rest of The Six then covered up the murder by dumping Keanu’s body in the cafe.

In typical soap fashion though, his body was eventually discovered causing panic among the ladies. However, they set up Dean Wicks for Keanu’s murder – with him getting sent to prison for it.
And over in Walford this week, Keanu’s funeral took place – leaving Sharon devastated and heartbroken. And now, fans reckon they have worked out who she could start a relationship with next.

In an episode this week, Sharon had a heart to heart with Martin Fowler (James Bye) who was there with her to tell her son Albie about Keanu’s death. Now, fans reckon it’s only a matter of time before Martin and Sharon start a fling.
On a Reddit thread, one person said: “The interaction between Sharon & Martin this week was interesting. Perhaps it was just a poignant moment between two legacy characters – but I also wondered if it was the beginning of a spark?

“It would be a surprising but possibly extremely wholesome and long lasting relationship at last) for the pair of them. It could also see Sharon confessing the truth re. Keanu.”
Someone else agreed and wrote: “It would certainly be an interesting development. They live together, they’re VERY close, the age difference isn’t such a big deal and it might actually be one of the greatest relationships ever…but would they have the bottle to actually sustain it, or would Martin cheat with Stacey, etc and blow it all apart?”

A third penned: “I agree. A big curveball — and Stacey is in the Six — but it could be interesting, especially the reaction of other legacy characters like Kathy and Ian, and Zack as the best friend/brother. It also stops a repetitive return to Sharon and Phil! It could be a really good will they-won’t they slow burn.”
Someone else pointed out: “That’s gross. I feel like they have a more brother / sister relationship… but I did notice this too. I can’t see it myself but you never know.”
