BBC EastEnders EXPLOSION! Two EastEnders legends finally return – But Will They DESTROY Walford?
Normality is restored in EastEnders next week when the iconic Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) and Big Mo Harris (Laila Morse) return to Albert Square.
We haven’t half missed them!
Freddie was last seen leaving Albert Square to spend some time with mum Little Mo Slater (Kacey Ainsworth), after being released on bail following an attack on sinister stalker Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis).
This was of course to facilitate Bobby’s participation in last year’s Strictly Come Dancing, and since then he’s been embroiled in a number of huge projects.
On the other hand, Mo has been absent from Walford for a lot longer.
The grandmother of Kat (Jessie Wallace), Mo was introduced alongside the rest of the Slater clan in 2000. She was a regular on the BBC One soap until 2012, and continued to make recurring appearances for the next four years.
She returned in 2018 for another three year stint, and was last seen at Kat’s failed wedding to Phil Mitchell in 2022.
In upcoming scenes, Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) notices he has intruders in his flat, whips out a toy baseball bat, and begins to attack them – only to realise it’s Freddie and Mo!
The family are delighted to have them home, but Freddie soon realises that because Kat and her kids are staying at No. 5D, he’ll be forced to move into the already crowded No. 31.
However, as the residents begin to gossip about a potential reunion between Kat and Alfie, Freddie feels inclined to bite the bullet and give them a chance.
It seems that he may have relationship issues of his own, as spoiler pictures show him looking surprised at Bobby Beale (Clay Milner-Russell) and Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) kissing outside of the Vic.
